In the modern world; we are all always on the move. With the little downtime we have throughout our day, people like to throw in entertainment to make the time pass in good tidings. In the past; handheld game consoles served this purpose throughout our youth. With the advent of smart phones, games have become a number one contender for passing time on the move once again. Smartphone games generally aren’t as intricate as those you would find on a PC or console; and are mostly designed for pick-up-and-play content. This makes them great for playing a few minutes at a time, which is what most people have to offer as of late.
The most popular of these games might just be Angry Birds. Developed by Rovio Mobile and released to the masses in December 2009, it quickly took the title as the go to game for smart phone owners. Featuring game play you can pick up and drop at any time, and ever raising challenges, it set the standard for a modern mobile title. A ton of devices even include the game because of its popularity. A more recent title that has gained sudden popularity is Temple Run. Although exclusive to the iPhone for now; the game will soon be released to phones that run off Android and its many offshoots.
When it comes down to finding a phone that can actually support such titles, Samsung is the way to go. Their phones often offer powerful processors and loads of ram. Those with cheaper varieties of smart phones should be varying, as their phone model might not be powerful enough to handle some of the more graphic-intensive titles. Often times, you can find what phones will support a game on the information section of the application in the market.
So dive in, there’s titles for everyone!
